Getting Started
How do I get started with Raisapp?
Sign up for free at raisapp.com no credit card required. Once logged in from your phone, you'll be taken directly to your appointment dashboard. You can create your first appointment in under 60 seconds.
Is Raisapp mobile only?
Raisapp is mobile first: the full barbershop management experience (appointments, clients, services) is optimized for your phone. A desktop dashboard is also available at the same URL from a computer for advanced settings and reporting.
Do I need to install an app?
No app download required. Raisapp runs entirely in your mobile browser. You can add it to your home screen as a PWA for a native app-like experience.
Appointments
How do I create a new appointment?
Tap the "+" button on your appointments screen. Fill in the client name, phone number, service, date and time — then tap Save. The appointment appears instantly in your calendar.
Can clients confirm, reschedule, or cancel their appointment?
Yes. When you confirm an appointment, your client receives an SMS with a personalized link (e.g. raisapp.com/c/[token]). From that page, they can confirm attendance, request a reschedule, or cancel — no login required.
What appointment statuses are available?
Appointments can be in one of five states: Pending, Confirmed, Reschedule Requested, Cancelled, or Completed. You can update the status directly from the appointment detail view.
Can I view my appointment calendar?
Yes. The calendar view is accessible from the main navigation. It shows all your appointments organized by day, making it easy to spot open slots and busy periods.
SMS & Notifications
How does SMS confirmation work?
When you confirm an appointment, Raisapp automatically sends your client an SMS via Twilio. The message includes their name, service, date, time, the barber name, and a short link to view/manage their appointment.
How many SMS can I send per month?
It depends on your plan. Starter: 50 SMS/month at $0.05 each. Pro: 200 SMS included, then $0.04 each. Growth: 600 SMS included, then $0.03 each. You can monitor your usage in real time in Settings → SMS Usage.
What happens when I reach my SMS limit?
SMS confirmations are automatically paused to protect you from unexpected charges. A warning appears in your Settings page. You can upgrade your plan at any time to resume SMS sending immediately.
Where can I see which SMS were sent?
Go to Settings and scroll to the "SMS History" section. You'll see every SMS sent, including the client name, phone number, exact message body, and time sent. Use the search bar to filter by client name.
Can I see SMS history in notifications?
Yes. The notification bell in your dashboard automatically loads your 5 most recent SMS sends when the app starts, so you always have quick access to recent activity.
Billing & Plans
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Starter plan is completely free and includes unlimited appointments, a full client directory, and 50 SMS at $0.05 each. No credit card required to start.
How does billing work?
Raisapp uses a "Jobs Done" model — you pay for what you use. Monthly subscriptions (Pro $19/mo, Growth $35/mo) are processed securely via Stripe. Your plan renews automatically each month and can be cancelled anytime.
How do I upgrade or manage my subscription?
Go to Settings in the mobile app and tap the upgrade button. To manage an existing subscription (update payment method, cancel, or view invoices), tap "Manage Billing" to access the Stripe customer portal.
What payment methods are accepted?
Raisapp accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) through Stripe. Card information is never stored on Raisapp servers.
Clients
How do I add a client?
You can add clients directly from the Clients section, or they're automatically saved when you create an appointment with a new phone number. The client directory is searchable by name and phone.
Can clients book appointments themselves?
Self-booking is on our roadmap. Currently, the barber creates all appointments. Clients receive confirmations via SMS and can manage their own appointment (confirm/reschedule/cancel) through the client link.
Is my client data secure?
Yes. Raisapp uses Row Level Security (RLS) in Supabase/PostgreSQL — your client data is strictly isolated from other barbers and tenants at the database level. No barber can ever access another's client list.
Account & Security
How do I log in?
You can sign in with your email and password, or use Google OAuth for a one-tap login. After authentication, you'll be automatically redirected to your appointment dashboard.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login page, tap "Forgot password". Enter your email and you'll receive a secure reset link. The link uses PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) for maximum security.
How do I customize my public business page?
Go to Profile → White-Label. There you can set your business slug (raisapp.com/b/your-slug), bio, brand color, and download your QR code. Your public page shows your services and brand — perfect to share on social media.
